Shotgun found in Biche

A homemade shotgun containing one live round was found in Charuma Village, Biche, yesterday.

The weapon was found during an anti-crime exercise conducted between 2 pm and 6 pm in the Biche area. The exercise targeted several areas known for illegal drug activity. The shotgun was found in an abandoned structure in Charuma Village.

The exercise was supervised by Sgt Mahabir and included officers from the Biche Police Station. Investigations are continuing.
