Autopsy determines man found in Guaracara River was hit and stabbed

The body found in the Guaracara River on Tuesday night has been confirmed to be of 63-year-old Razack Bholo.

Police said an autopsy determined that the man died of blunt force trauma and nine stab wounds to the back of his neck. The autopsy was done on April 25th at the Forensic Sciences Centre in St James.

The Hunters Search and Rescue Team says for years, Razack lived below the nearby bridge which is under the highway.

Investigations are continuing.
