The public can expect temporary traffic disruption along Saddle Road this weekend due to bridge reconstruction works.
In an update the Ministry of Works and Transport said the temporary closure will take place along Saddle Road between the Maraval Bridge and the roundabout near KFC.
The work will begin from 9pm on Friday, April 26 and is expected to be completed by 10am on Sunday, April 28, 2024.
The Ministry said alternative access routes can be utilised as follows:
1. Two-way vehicular traffic diverted to Anderson Terrace.
2. Traffic will exit via Camille Drive to proceed onto Saddle Road.
The Ministry said only local traffic will be allowed to areas between Rookery Nook and Church’s Texas Chicken compound.
The public is advised to proceed slowly and with caution and to follow the instructions of officials on site.
