T&T cyclist Nicholas Paul has won three medals at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England.
On Saturday he won gold in the kierin race, followed by silver in the sprint on Sunday and bronze in the 1000-metre time trial final today.
The 23-year-old sprinter from Gasparillo won the gold medal in the men’s keirin at the Birmingham Games on Saturday and made it to the finals on Sunday against Australian Matt Richardson.
However, Richardson took the gold medal beating Paul in two straight rides. Paul’s medals are the first for Trinidad and Tobago at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.
