The National Alliance for Transformation is fielding thirty-one candidates for the upcoming local government election under a coalition arrangement with the United National Congress.
Among the candidates are a former Attorney General and Ambassador to the United Kingdom, Garvin Nicholas, former national senior footballers, Keron Cummings, Kenwyne Jones and Ross Russell, entertainers, Terry Seales and three time national Extempo Champion , Black Sage, as well as persons from various disciplines.
Speaking at the rollout of local government election candidates today, NTA Political Leader, Gary Griffith, expressed confidence that a coalition system and regime can work in Trinidad and Tobago.
He said the platform will not be used to disgrace people and their character but put forward individuals willing to serve the nation.
