T&T Chamber Advocates for Collaboration with Ministry of Health to Enhance Nutrition Programs

There is a consensus on the need for ongoing dialogue and cooperation between the public and private sectors.

This position is reached after a delegation of twelve members representing the Food and Beverage Sectors convened with the Minister of Health, Terrance Deyalsingh, and its officials recently at the Ministry of Health’s Head Office located at 4-6 Queens’ Park East, Port of Spain.

The discussion provided an update to the Minster of Health on the implementation of health initiatives aimed at providing healthier alternatives to consumers.

The meeting underscored the collective commitment between the Trinidad and Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Ministry of Health in addressing pressing health concerns in the nation.

The T&T Chamber reaffirmed its dedication to working hand in hand with the Ministry of Health to realize tangible outcomes and foster a healthier future for Trinidad and Tobago.

The meeting allowed for a presentation on private sector initiatives which provided insight that indicates alignment with the Ministry of Health’s ongoing effort.
