Public To Get Update Tuesday On Preparations For The Trinbago2023 Commonwealth Youth Games

Tomorrow the public will get an update from the Trinidad and Tobago Commonwealth Games Association on its plans for the Trinbago2023 Commonwealth Youth Games which will be held in eighteen days.

The TTCGA will host a news briefing on Tuesday at the Magdalena Grand Beach and Golf Resort at 11:30am.

Expected to be in attendance are: – Minister of Sport and Community Development,  Shamfa Cudjoe,  President of the TTCGA, Diane Henderson, Chairman of the Local Organising Committee, Douglas Camacho and M- Members of the LOC’s Tobago Task Force

The media conference will also introduce Tobago to Cocoyea, the  human-size mascot for the Trinbago 2023 CYG Games.

Preparation of venues and finalisation of the 71 attending countries and their athletes are in their final stages.

The Local Organising Committee continues to showcase its ability to the Commonwealth Games Federation.

With a focus on youth, Trinbago 2023 CYG athletes are set to compete in world class facilities in front of filled stadiums and on live platforms for the world to see.
