Planning Minister says the Gov’t will not imprison the socially displaced

Minister of Planning and Development, Camille Robinson Regis, said Government’s idea with dealing with the socially displaced is not to imprison persons but rather support those in need by way of the “Move Along” concept.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, said he is saddened by the decline in conditions at Queen Street in Port of Spain.

Dr Rowley said Queen Street was once a vibrant site for business but this is not the case now.
