Fruit vendor murdered in Freeport

A well known fruit vendor fruit was chopped to death in Freeport on Tuesday.

Around 6:30pm, Timothy St Cyr also known as “Rastaman Motty” was standing near his stall located on Calcutta Road #2 in Freeport when a man approached him with a cutlass and attacked him. St. Cyr, 42, was chopped several times by the assailant who then escaped. St. Cyr died from the inflicted wounds.

Police are continuing investigations.
