The Adult Education Programme is not operational at this time.
The Programme is being re-purposed to respond to the needs of the many vulnerable clients and families in society.
Under the new programme clients’ ability will enhanced to transition from welfare to self-sufficiency, focusing on areas such as micro enterprise, coaching and mentoring, allowing them to lead more sustainable lives.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family Services disclosed this information in a media release on Friday afternoon.
It said the information brochure about the Programme is being circulated across various media, advising persons to sign up.
Members of the public can look forward to more information on the newly-structured Adult Education Programme in the future.

In this regard, persons should avoid crowding the Ministry’s offices to enquire about the Programme.
