Farley to PM: “Mind yuh damn business!”

In the wake of the Prime Minister’s call for fresh Tobago House of Assembly elections, Chief Secretary Farley Augustine has told Dr Keith Rowley to mind his business.

In an op-ed on his socials on Sunday, Rowley issued the election call in light of the split between Augustine and his team with the Progressive Democratic Patriots (PDP).
Augustine also just launched a new political party called Tobago People’s Party.

Augustine did not issue any statements to media, but simply posted a video on his personal Facebook page, showing Rowley at a People’s National Movement meeting saying that as Prime Minister, he stays out of Tobago’s business.

With his post, Augustine wrote: “Well just mind yuh damn business then!”

On Monday, former THA Presiding Officer Denise Tsioafatt-Angus shared similar sentiments during an interview with News Power Now.

She said fresh elections would do nothing to solve the political issues on the island, and the Prime Minister should stay out of Tobago’s business.
