A 23-year-old man who was beaten and left for dead last week has succumbed to his injuries.
Rajendra Jogieraj of College Trace, St. Augustine was beaten in St. Augustine. He was found around 11:00a.m on October 13, 2019 near a fruit shed along the Eastern Main Road in St Augustine in the vicinity of Guardian General. He was taken to the Eric Williams Medical Sciences Complex in Mt Hope to be treated for his injuries. Sources say he was so badly beaten that he never regained consciousness.
Police are now treating his death as a murder case.
