Prostate cancer is identified as the leading cancer among males over 40 years in Trinidad and Tobago.
The Ministry of Health explains screening for cancer helps with early detection and treatment.
It says the aim of this weekend of screening is to promote the importance of early detection in prostate cancer and to encourage men to take positive action towards their health.
Meanwhile, the North Central Regional Health Authority will host the launch of the national weekend of prostate screening entitled “It’s All about HIM: A Health Initiative for Men.”
