Seamen Waterfront Workers Trade Union (SWWTU) President Michael Annisette says he believes the failure of National Tripartite Advisory Council is unfortunate.
He told the Power Breakfast Show this morning that the Council was a great forum for treating with the many issues facing T&T.
He said the Federation’s main issue was the fact that they were consistently left out of major decisions as it pertained to labour in the country.
He cited the WASA issue as a major example.
He said Government Representatives have consistently refused to engage the unions on pertinent issues.
