A family of three including a 64-year-old man was beaten and robbed during a home invasion at their Savannah Drive, Pinto Road, Arima, home early on Sunday morning.
According to reports the family was at home when two men entered the house and threw a 29-year-old woman on the ground, before beating her parents.
The bandits stole two cellphones and a Samsung tablet before running away.
Arima police are continuing inquiries.
