Zesser party gone wrong! Shootout with gunmen and police

In midst of a nation wide ‘soft-lockdown’ persons of Snake Valley, Laventille engaged in a ‘Zesser’ party which turned for the worst.

Police officers were later involved in a shootout with gunmen who attended the ‘Zesser’ party just midnight on Saturday.

According to an Express report, two officers were responding to a report of a disturbance in Snake Valley; when they arrived they found approximately 20 and 30 people engaging in a party with loud music.

The report further states that the officers stepped out of their patrol vehicle and walked towards the group – it was further to reported that someone began firing at the officers.

“The officers then returned fire and called for backup.”

Officers of the Inter Agency task Force responded

Then officers from the Strike Team, Operation H.O.P.E. and the Port of Spain Task Force responded.

A few suspects fled the scene, however one was held.
