A man identified as Carlos Sutherland was shot and killed in Arima on Thursday.
Residents of Mt. Zion Road, Arima heard a series of loud explosions and later discovered Sutherland lying face down, bleeding from multiple gunshot injuries.
Sutherland died at the scene, before police arrived.
Crime scene investigators recovered several spent shells.
