With the reopening of schools today comes greater risk for the transmission of COVID 19 throughout the population.
This warning was given by Epidemiologist, Dr Avery Hinds who provided some tips to lessen the risk.
Speaking at the Ministry’s COVID Health briefing, he said in addition to the regular COVID guidelines, some further measures can also be taken to reduce the risk of transmission.
He added that there are other social and behavioral changes which can also help in keeping COVID numbers down as he reminded parents and children that they must also do their part.
