Businessman Derek Chin said restaurant owners need help as they seek to get their businesses back on track.
He made the comment while speaking on Power 102 FM’s Power Breakfast Show this morning.
The Movie Towne Owner, who also owns several restaurants, said that if the food sector is not fully reopened before the end of this year for in-store dining then he will have to consider either fully closing his restaurants or significantly reducing the number of branches.

He also praised the decision to reopen cinemas etc, describing it as a step in the right direction.
He added that it will do well to get the economy restarted.
