PAHO Director urges region to ensure health care systems are efficient

Director of the Pan American Health Organization, Dr Carissa Etienne, is urging Caribbean government to ensure their health care system is efficient and able to cope with increasing demand brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Speaking at a news briefing on Thursday, Dr Etienne highlighted the seriousness of this point.

Dr Etienne called for all to be done to ensure persons in need of proper health care benefit from it.
