Police are looking into an incident on Thursday morning, in which a 60-year-old businessman was held up and robbed of over $100,000.
Richard Sam Chung, of Old Joseph Road, Laventille, reported to police that he was at his business place, Sam Chung Shop, around 3 am, when six armed men entered through a hole in the roof and announced a robbery.
Sam Chung was badly beaten and then relieved of over $100,000.
The suspects then escaped.
