The Opposition Leader says the issue surrounding the appointment of Gary Griffith as Acting Commissioner is a constitutional crisis.
Kamla Persad-Bissessar made the comment while speaking at the UNC’s Monday Night forum.
She said the country was being saddled with 2 Acting Commissioners of Police…a situation she described as bizarre.
Mrs Persad-Bissessar called on the members of the Police Service Commission to resign over the fiasco citing possible political interference.
