Opposition boycotts Senate sitting for a second time

The Opposition for a second time has boycotted the Senate sitting.
Instead the United National Congress hosted a media conference at the Office of the Opposition, at St. Charles Street, PoS.
Last week Friday Opposition members also stayed away from the Senate and hosted a media conference.
Debate on the Anti-Gang Bill took place on that day.
Opposition Leader, Kamla Persad Bissessar, at a news briefing last week said the Opposition had concern about COVID-19 after Prime Minister, Dr. Keith Rowley, recently tested positive for the virus.
Senate President, Christine Kangaloo, revealed which members on the Opposition bench gave her notification of their absence today.
