A moderate-magnitude 5.0 earthquake shook much of north-western Trinidad on Wednesday evening.
UWI’s Seismic Research Centre said the earthquake was recorded at approximately 8:35pm and felt in both Port of Spain and Venezuela.
The event was located at a preliminary depth of 59km.
