Fruitful and engaging discussions have been held between Minister in the Ministry of Finance, Brian Manning, and representatives of the AWU and Communications Workers Union on the proposed increase in the compulsory age of retirement from 60 to 65 years.
Both sides met on Wednesday.
In a media release Thursday, the Ministry of Finance said discussions with other trade union bodies will continue in the near future.
