A plea is being made for staffing and funding challenges facing the Praedial Larcency Squad to be urgently addressed.
It comes from Opposition Member of Parliament for Couva North, Ravi Ratiram.
MP Ratiram said during a recent visit with farmers of the Cunjal Food Crop Project in Barrackpore they praised some officers of the Investigative Intelligence Unit within the Praedial Larcency Squad who have gone above and beyond the call of duty to provide assistance.
MP Ratiram claims Praedial Larceny Squad officers are frustrated and farmers are suffering.
