A 32-year old Cunupia man was arrested with a pistol and a quantity of ammunition, during an anti-crime exercise conducted in the district last night.
Officers of the Cunupia Police Station executed a search of the suspect’s home at Raghunanan Road on yesterday, where they found one black and chrome Beretta pistol, two magazines and 23 rounds of ammunition in the house. The suspect who was in the house at the time of the exercise was arrested in connection with the find.
Investigations are ongoing.
