Finance Minister, Colm Imbert, says the government will use money from the Heritage and Stabilization Fund once there is need to do so and provide some level of cushion during the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Minister Imbert assured this will be done in a responsible way.
Minister Imbert gave the update in his response to a question posed to him by a reporter at this afternoon’s news briefing.
The Finance Imbert also revealed the government’s approach towards spending on infrastructure projects moving forward.
Minister Imbert said the government is prepared to spend what is required on COVID-19 vaccines.
