Acting Commissioner of Police, Erla Christopher,  is giving the assurance no stone would be left unturned to bring the perpetrators who killed 9-year-old, Jamal Modeste, Saturday evening in Enterprise, Chaguanas to justice.

According to police reports around 8.20 pm on October 15th 2022, several shots were fired from a white panel van in the vicinity of the basketball court at the African Grounds, Enterprise.

A 9-year-old child was struck by the gunfire and was taken to the Chaguanas Health Facility by relatives to seek medical attention.

However, the child succumbed to his injuries.

Additionally, the TTPS will render assistance to the distraught family during this traumatic time through the Victim and Witness Support Unit.”
