WASA has completed the repairs to a ruptured pipeline near the Curepe Interchange.
According to a release from the Authority this morning, their crew was able to complete the repairs around 4am, with supply restored along the Caroni North transmission system.
WASA says these works were completed ahead of its previously expected timeline.
However, customers in parts of Tunapuna/St Augustine will continue to be impacted as work is ongoing on a secondary pipeline, which WASA expects to repair by 4pm today.
Areas still being affected include Macoya, Pasea, Curepe, St Augustine, Valsayn South and Real Spring.
