T&T bidding for a “couple games” of England’s tour of the West Indies

If all continues to go well and the COVID19 numbers make a slow and steady decline, T&T will be hosting a series of cricket matches in the new year.

At Saturday’s media briefing, Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley revealed that T&T is bidding for a “couple games” of England’s tour of the West Indies.

England are expected to visit the region between January 28th and March 28th, 2022, where there will be approximately five T20Is and three Tests.

Rowley told media that the bid for the cricket matches is an example of what is ahead for the country as the battle against COVID-19 continues.
