Dr. Nicole Ramlachan is a bio technologist and geneticist who lectures and is an Associate Professor at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. She spoke to Paul Richards about the importance of getting a large portion of the population vaccinated against covid 19. She stressed that once the WHO has approved a vaccine it is safe and persons should not get to caught up in the efficacy levels as they all protect persons significantly against the virus.
Dr Ramlachan also explained how the virus spreads so quickly and the importance of persons staying home, socially distancing and wearing masks to prevent the virus entering your Respiratory system.
She stressed the damage misinformation has created in the fight against covid 19.
