Scotiabank named Trinidad and Tobago’s Best Bank 2021

Scotiabank has once again been recognised as Trinidad and Tobago’s Best Bank, this time for 2021 by Global Finance Magazine (New York), which selects the best financial institutions around the world every year and is a trusted standard of excellence.

In commenting on the Bank’s achievement, Stephen Bagnarol – SVP and Managing Director, Scotiabank Trinidad and Tobago indicated “I am so proud of the team and what they have been able to accomplish. Our employees continue to deliver excellence, earning the trust and confidence of our customers. Notwithstanding the impact of the global
pandemic, our team and customers have risen to the challenge and really demonstrated their resilience.”

“Our customers motivate us to do better. Throughout the pandemic we have gotten even closer to our customers, proactively calling them and using our customer feedback system. In the past year, our Senior Management Team has called 10,000+ customers, using this feedback to action improvements.”

Incoming SVP and Managing Director, Gayle Pazos, who assumes office on May 1, 2021 also commented – “This is an amazing achievement – congratulations to our employees and customers! Our investments in technology and the expansion of our ATM network have helped our customers do their banking safely and securely, closer to home. We also have several new digital offerings on the horizon that will make it even easier to do business with us.
