Bandits broke into a Hindu temple and ransacked the place before escaping with a few items.
On Sunday, when employees of the Vishwas Shanti Ashram in Cunupia returned to the temple, they found the place in a different state than they had left it a week ago. The employees said the bandits took water bottles, soft drinks, and food including bags of rice.
The bandits reportedly broke into the building by cutting a hole in the roof.
Police are continuing investigations.
