Police are investigating the murder of a Primary School teacher from Arima.
53-year-old Garfield Gaye, who taught at the St. Mary’s Anglican Primary School in Tacarigua sustained multiple gunshots to the body. Police believe Gay may have been taken to Bramble Trace in Cumuto to be executed.
Persons who live in the area said they heard gunshots around 11:00p.m on Monday and when they went to investigate, they found Gaye’s body lying in a busy area at the side of the road. He was later identified.
An autopsy is expected to be performed on the deceased teacher’s body today.
