Police are investigating multiple murders, reported overnight in Malabar Maloney, and Fyzabad.
Two of the victims had been identified as 30-year-old David Doonie, and 33-year-old Atiba Lewis.
Doonie has been listed as a resident of Mulligan Drive, La Horquetta. He was reportedly killed at the home of a female friend’s home along Cocorite Road, Malabar where he was sleeping at 3:00 when two masked men forced their way in and shot him multiple times. The female friend was unharmed.
The second victim Atiba Lewis was killed in the carpark outside of Building 16, Maloney Gardens, at about 10.45p.m. on Wednesday.
Police are also investigating the murder of a third man in Fyzabad. 21-year-old Djmon Sanderson was shot three times to the chest, neck, and foot by gunmen in a drive-by shooting in front his Fyzabad home on Wednesday night.
Police reported that at about 11 pm Sanderson was liming in front of his home at Gowers Well Road when a white car pulled up and group of men began shooting at him. He fell into a drain in front his home.
His grandmother pulled him from the drain and he was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. The assailants reportedly continued shooting at other houses randomly as they drove off but no one was injured.
No motives have been determined for the killings which do not seem to be related.
