PM Speaks On Chinese Firm’s Claim Of US$380 Million Debt

A Chinese company is claiming this country owes it 380 million US dollars.

This was revealed by Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley at a political meeting held in Diego Martin.

The Prime Minister told those gathered the claim relates to the improper shutting down of a project, in which there was a contract, and work taking place.

Dr Rowley provided context behind the development and how the present situation materialised.

Dr Rowley said he will bring the matter to the parliament at the appropriate time.
