Personal reasons cited for WASA’s CEO resignation

Personal reasons are cited by Dr Lennox Sealey for his resignation as Executive Director and Chairman of the Board Water and Sewage
Authority.

Dr Sealy’s resignation takes place with immediate effect.

It comes five months after Dr Sealey was appointed to the senior position at WASA.

In the parliament today, Public Utilities Minister, Marvin Gonzales, was asked to inform the House of Representatives as to the reasons for the sudden departure of Dr Sealy from the utility.

Minister Gonzales read the contents of the resignation letter of Dr Sealey.

Opposition Member of Parliament for Couva South, Rudy Indarsingh, wanted to know if any pressure was placed on Dr Sealey to resign.
