No money has been paid to the law firm Al-Rawi, Haynes-Soo Hon and Company thus far by the Office of the Prime Minister in respect of a pre-action protocol letter from the Maha Sabha, questioning the change in criteria for scholarships.
Prime Minister, Dr Keith Rowley, said the matter is in the court and at the appropriate time a bill will be issued and a payment made.
Opposition Member of Parliament for Naparima, Rodney Charles, wanted to know what procurement process was used to select the firm in question.
Dr Rowley said he is not aware of any wrong doing in this matter.
