Police have yet to determine the circumstances surrounding the death of a man, whose decomposing body was found inside a Port of Spain building on Monday afternoon.
A team of police officers on mobile patrol along Maraval Road received a call just before 5pm, that a body was seen lying motionless and decomposed in the Victoria Park Suites, which is located opposite Victoria Park, Port-of-Spain.
The officers responded and on arrival, were escorted to the second floor to Penco Reyes Holistic office, where they found the body of Dr Penco Reyes motionless and decomposed.
The body was found slumped on a chair.
Police said they will now have to wait on the results of an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Homicide detectives are continuing investigations into the matter.
