The President of the Public Services Association, Watson Duke, said that a large sum of money has gone missing at the North West Regional Health Authority (NWRHA).
Duke also accused health authorities of a cover-up and said there is an effort to protect those culpable.
Duke said the NWRHA is guilty of denying employees their contributions and is hesitant to give them permanent jobs.
He also accused the Authority of being unable to find the cash to pay employees their pensions.
He alleged that the Authority has allowed persons to make off with their money.
He issued an ultimatum to Health Minister Terrence Deyalsingh- respond now or he will take action.
