MoE puts police on the hunt for parents of students who were absent from online schooling

A number of students had difficulty in accessing online schooling, or failed to log into online classes or collect school packages for one reason or another.

The Minister of Education said yesterday that the police are in the process of tracking down parents of students who failed to log on for online schooling.

Meanwhile, as the final term of Academic Year 2020/21 ends today the Ministry of Education recognizes the efforts of every stakeholder who has made this year possible.

In a release this morning, the MOE thanked parents, teachers, principals and corporate T&T for their assistance.

They said following this historic academic year, the job of transforming education will take all our efforts “and we have made significant progress this year, notwithstanding the challenges.

The MOE said the business of education continues with preparations for 2021/22!
