TSTT: steps have been taken to address revenue challenges

The Telecommunications Services of Trinidad and Tobago (TSTT) in response to the CWU’s statement from an article published by National Enterprises Limited, says “it cannot comment on NEL statements.”

As previously reported the Union claims that the statement quoted by NEL’s Chairman implies that “while TSTT has experienced a 35% reduction in value, the company has embarked on another reorganization exercise.”

In a statement sent to IzzSo Media, TSTT said “like all of corporate Trinidad and Tobago, TSTT has been taking steps to address the cost and revenue challenges associated with the fallout from the Covid-19 pandemic.”

TSTT said it “is cognizant of the tenets of good industrial relations practice and will not violate same in any circumstances.”
