The Sports Company of Trinidad and Tobago (SporTT) has announced that the Hasely Crawford Stadium will be closed from 1 July to facilitate planned renovations.
SporTT states that the Stadium is scheduled for replacement and recertification of its athletics track and its warm-up track.
The playing field, the home ground of the Trinidad and Tobago national men’s senior team, is also set for rehabilitation.
SporTT also announced that the Jean Pierre Complex will remain closed as it undergoes renovations to the tune of TT$36.1 million.
The renovations are set to bring the facility up to standard and satisfy safety requirements.
