A 32-year-old suspect wanted in connection with house break-ins and who is known to commit indecent assault offences during such break-ins was arrested in the North Eastern Division last night.
The suspect was previously charged with a number of offences including burglary, grievous sexual assault, house breaking, larceny and serious indecency.
The suspect was arrested in the Santa Cruz area last night by detectives from the Santa Cruz Police Station, and is currently in custody in the Port of Spain Division where he is expected to be placed on identification parade concerning offences committed in the Woodbrook district.
Port of Spain Division and North Eastern Division detectives collaborated upon realizing recent similar offences had been committed in their Divisions.
Investigations into this matter remain active.
