Several reports suggests that Secretary General Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha (SDMS), Satnarayan Maharaj suffered a stroke last evening.
IzzSo media spoke with Pundit Satyanand Maharaj this morning who said “as far as I know he has suffered a stroke and is on life support.”
“My prayers go out to him and his family in these difficult times,” said Maharaj.
IzzSo media was reliably informed on Friday by Maharaj’s son that his father was admitted to hospital for flu like symptoms and kept for observation.
Based on an update of his health by family members, Maharaj is currently warded in ICU.
The Sanatan Dharma Maha Sabha which has been under the diligent watch of Sat Maharaj operates 150 Mandirs and over 50 schools in Trinidad and Tobago.
79 year old Sat Maharaj was last seen publicly with Opposition Leader, Mrs. Kamla Persad-Bissessar at a Hindu festival back in October, all smiles and in good health.
