Former Minister of Finance, Karen Nunez-Tesheira has confirmed that she will challenge Dr Keith Rowley for the position of Political Leader in the upcoming People’s National Movement Internal Election.
Nunez-Tesheira made the announcement last evening during an interview on 95.9fm.
She said having had her experience in the PNM and as a government Minister, it puts her in good position to challenge the post.
Nunez-Tesheira also citied the country’s crime and poverty rate as another banner with which she said has a heavy impact on growth for citizens and good economic standing for T&T.
She said she has a responsibility and her love for country to offer her services as political leader of the People’s National Movement.
The People’s National Movement internal elections is set for December 4th, 2022.
