UNC activist and spokesman Brian Stone has passed away.
Unconfirmed reports state that he collapsed while playing table tennis at the Queen’s Park Oval on Saturday afternoon.
UNC, via its Facebook page, said: “Deepest condolences to the friends and family of Mr Brian Stone. You will be missed deeply by your entire UNC family.”
Stone is a former CNMG Chairman.
In March 2022, Stone promised to join Ukraine’s fight against the Russian invasion.
Back in 2020, he was ordered by the High Court to pay Prime Minister Dr Keith Rowley $350,000 in damages and aggravated damages plus costs in a defamation suit.
