27 coaches and PE educators complete an ‘Advanced Instructor’ course in Athletic Skills Model

27 coaches and PE educators successfully completed the ‘Advanced Instructor’ course in Athletic Skills Model.

According to SporTT the course was conducted from January 10th -15th at the National Racquet Centre in Tacarigua.

Under the tagline ‘Optimising talent development through movement education’ the Dutch-based Athletic Skills Model was brought to Trinidad as a result of a strategic partnership between SporTT and the University of Portsmouth.

The workshop was led by SporTT’s Elite Athlete Wellbeing Unit.

“The ASM is set to equip coaches (elite, youth and community) as well as PE teachers and practitioners in the health, exercise and sport industries with a framework to think about skillful movement across the lifespan.”
