IRO President Condemns Recent Acts Of Vandalism At Places Of Worship

There is condemnation of the recent acts of vandalism carried out at some places of worship.

This position was expressed by the President of the Inter Religious Organisation, Pandit Lloyd Murkram Sirjoo.

In April the Pastoral Centre at St Francis RC, Belmont was vandalised.

Two men have held in connection with the incident.

There was also an attack on the Carapo Shiv Mandir.

Speaking in an interview with Power 102 Digital, Pandit Murkram Sirjoo, said this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated toward any membership of the religious community.

Pandit Murkram Sirjoo said this is not the first time places of worship of worship have been broken into.
